In very rare cases, the smartphone may ring in your pocket. Possible causes for a residual connection in exceptional cases can be:

• Network caching: Some smartphones maintain a connection to the network for a short time - if a call comes in during this time, the phone may still ring.
• Delayed disconnection: Some devices need a few seconds to cut the connection completely.
• Strong transmitters in the vicinity: If there is an amplifier or a mobile phone transmitter in the immediate vicinity, the signal may in rare cases be strong enough to penetrate the shielding for a short time.

When using the shielding cases, we recommend placing the smartphone in the case with the receiver sensor (located in the upper part of the screen on most smartphones) facing downwards (i.e. upside down).

If your shielding bag has become damp, allow it to dry slowly on its own. Extreme heat would also take a toll on the leather and cause it to bleach or become brittle. Make sure it stays supple and maintain it from time to time with common leather care products.
